In this tutorial we will show you how to create a simple XML image gallery in ActionScript 3. The advantage of XML-based photo gallery is obvious – instead of editing the FLA file manually every time you want to add an extra image, you can just edit an XML file. The gallery we’re going to create is really primitive, but it’s enough to give you the basic understanding of the principles of retrieving XML data in Flash.
